Crooks new Music Video-Waiting On You

I love the sound of that harmonica. Wow! This record was a lot of fun to work on with Jonathan Plum producing. I've learned so much from him.

City Faire - No U Won't

A track from City Faire.... A band I recently produced. Tracked at London Bridge Studio, and mixed at my office mixing studio. I had a lot of fun making this record. CD release party on August 5th at the Nectar Lounge in Seattle.

CBandCrooks

Music video town for "Nine to Chain"

Hooves and Beak

Whitney Flinn and cohorts entered the studio for two days of tracking. Got four songs down! Check her out, amazing voice... and harp.

Davey from Black Whales rocking hard. His kit sounded awesome. Dig LBS!

Jazz Now! Seattle Live at London Bridge Studio #1

We finally did it! After a few months of planning. Dave Marriot and Jason Parker and I put on the first jazz concert and recording podcast at LBS. So much fun. Industrial Revelation and the Ryan Burns Trio ft. Mark Taylor played. So much fun. You can dl the podcast at http://jazznowseattle.com/live-from-london-bridge-studio-episode-1/. Check out some pics:

Ryan Burns' setlist on the yamaha C7

Gatsby's American Dream

Working with producer Casey Bates at Elecrokitty on the upcoming Gatsby's American Dream record. Tracked drums for a song. Dig the huge snare!

Mercer Island High School Big Band

Rocking (or jazzing) some tracks at LBS with the Mercer Island High School Big Band. Kids can play! I wish I was that good at their age. Being a sax player I love having 12 or 13 horn players in one room.... Drool!

Recording with Bryan Scarbrough

Acoustic guitar and vocals @LBS... magic!

Fortune Dwellers and Fabulous Party Boys at the Scarlet Tree

Katlelyn Barreth tore it up. You much check out her disk "Fortune Dwellers".... its is great. http://www.myspace.com/katelynberreth

Also funky as ever is the Fabulous Party Boys. Those guys are sick! My buddy Jon Hansen on tuba, holding down the bass line. Sick!

Crooked TV Episode #3

This episode of Crooked TV, from Cody Bebe and the Crooks, features London Bridge and producer Jonathan Plum, as well as myself. Check it out.....

Pocket Panda

Pocket Panda rocked the High Dive a couple of weeks ago. Good band with some good songs written by lead singer Eric. Eels anybody?

Location:High Dive

Head Like a Kite

Rocking in the Studio with Dave Einmo from Head Like a Kite and studio owner Gary Reynolds. We layed some horn parts and drum trax down. This band is killin'! If you get a chance to go check them out.... do!

Location:Electrokitty

Northwest Audio-New HiFi

I got a new (old) HiFi receiver for my home setup. I've really been digging on vinyl recently and getting a better sounding receiver has upped the game for me. When I got my new receiver, one of the preamps was blown out. I took it to Northwest Audio and John gave me great treatment. He even gave me a loaner while I wait for the fix!! Pix of his shop and the receiver I'm borrowing.

Catching Up from December

December was a super busy month. I'm going make a few posts about the ongoings. I hope everyone out there has been doing well and is going to kick off the new year with a bang! This pic says it all......

Dead Kenny G's Rocking the High Dive

I really dig all the vibes of this band (pun intended). Skerik rocks the electric sax and keyboards. Mike Dillon on drums, tablas, and vibes is even more of an extrovert than Skerik. Brad Houser keeps the songs rolling with cool bass lines. If you get a chance to see these guys... Do!

Altaeus Woodwind Quintet @ Fastback Studio

Rockin' with the Alraeus Woodwind Quintet at Fastback Studio. Jason and Mark are both fantastic guys running a great studio. Five Coles 4038s (one for each player). Sounded killer, ribbon paradise! Check the pic from the control room.

Cute Lepers

Cute Lepers with Johnny Sangster. Awesome band to work with. Also saw them this past Friday at the Crocodile with Tennis Pro.

I Got Married!

Erin and I tied the knot 11/14. Thanks to Phil Peterson for the music. Here is a pic of Hawaii from our honeymoon:

Virgin Islands

Virgin Islands with Johnny Sangster @ the helm. Tracked on 2", mixed to 1/2", straight to mastering AAA! Gary's studer gets hot and can be finicky, but at the end of the day sounds great (coupled with a 9000J).
