Yesterday I played with the Ozzie Fuhrmann Orchestra at the Mandolin Cafe in Tacoma. Its a fun group to play with. Ozzie is 89 years young, and many of our charts are originals. We play big band music from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. We also do some polkas when the moment strikes.

Neumos - Gary Reynolds and the Brides of Obscurity
Last night I played sax with Gary for a great show at Neumos in Seattle. There were 4 horn players, euphonium, f tuba (my friend Jon), and trumpet. The band also included an electric cello player. We did a sweet version of John Lennon's "I am the Walrus." I spent 4 hours the day before transcribing it. Fun fun times!
