I worked with Gary Reynolds today laying down some horn lines with a couple of Cornish horn players.

This is a short walk through of the studio I am an intern at. You can see the new studer A827 2 inch tape machine and the neve 8048. Also check out the rest of the control room, the vocal booth, and the big room (which is set up for a 6 piece band). There is also a small room and bass cab iso (not shown in the video).

Cal Neal Tracking Drums at CMS for "Pants Bert"

Yesterday I worked with Cal Neal at Chartreuse Muffin Studio (my modest home studio) tracking drums for a song I'm working on called "Pants Bert." It was CMS' inaugural run, and everything ran smoothly. The movie consists of pics of the session pasted together with a raw snippet from the song.
